#ChickChat Episode 69- Selling and Buying on the Same Day

So, how does it work if you have to sell your current home in order to buy your next house? I'm not going to lie. It's a little bit of a logistical nightmare. However, we do it all the time. So making sure the two transactions go smoothly, simultaneously is a little bit of a juggle. However, you have to pick an agent that does that all the time, which is us. I just said that, and we can help you along the way from start to finish.

What we're really going to do is make sure that the transactions kind of line up together. So on the sale of your home and on the purchase, we're going to do the inspection around the same time. Then we're going to do the appraisal around the same time and believe it or not, we can close on both houses on the exact same day. So the sale of your home, what we're going to do is we're going to schedule it to close early in the morning. The funds will be transferred between title companies so you won't have to wire any money at all on that day. And then it will fund the purchase of your home in the afternoon. And then you can move in. And don't worry, we always have a plan B and a plan C. We will never leave you high and dry on closing day.
