#ChickChat Episode 3- What to Do on Closing Day

What to do on closing day? So this video is going to be targeted more towards our sellers. Because buyers, you really just have to give up your whole life savings on closing day. Sellers, you have a couple things you need to do. Usually, you sign beforehand. So closing day is an anti-climatic thing, but there's still a lot of responsibility on you.

Three main things to think about. 

First, keys. Where are the keys and how are they going to get to the buyers?

Usually, you can leave them with the title company.

The second is appliances.

Make sure to check your contract and go over it with your agent, and double check that all the appliances that you told the buyers that were going to stay in the home are in the home, like dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer.

Last but not least, you need to make sure that the home is at least cleaned a little bit with a broom.

Doesn't have to be professionally cleaned, although that's a really nice touch for the new buyers as they're moving in. Just make sure that you've at least swept through it with the broom.
