#ChickChat Episode 26- Hire a Buyer's Agent
I can argue pretty good, but I won't go and represent myself in a court of law because I don't know all of the laws. I don't know how to protect myself the best in a court of law. It's the same thing in real state. You should always use a buyer's agent because you don't know what you don't know. It's not always just about price. Sometimes, it's about not getting screwed over so that you're not buying a money pit, or not catching something in the inspections, or not getting screwed over on appraisals. Do you know all the inspections that you need for your home? Is your home block, wood frame? Do you have septic? Do you have well? What's the roof look like? Do you know all the inspections that you need? What about when the appraisal comes in? What if it's low? What if it's high?
If you are working with the seller's agent, they might not lead you in the wrong direction but they might not be representing you the best. We are absolutely free to you to use. You do not pay us, the seller does. So, there's really no reason to not use a buyer's agent to be represented.
